This delightful rhyming tale follows a playful ball on his journey to be the bounciest of them all. But along the way, he learns that pride comes before the fall, no matter how bouncy the ball. Thankfully, he has a true friend by his side, ready to help him reach new heights-and catch him when he falls.

How an idea comes to life…
The most challenging part of this project was how to make what is in a nutshell a simple round shape, expressive and relatable. How to make a plain red ball make the reader laugh or feel sympathy. How do we go about shape design when the shape is so constrained?
Another tricky design aspect was to make the second main character - Betty, looking sweet and endearing but also strong and resourceful, with that spark with her eye that would make everyone go “ they look like they gonna make it!”
